Speaker

Gary Grant

YOU Agency

Gary is younger than he looks, but still quite old. He is Partner and MD of YOU Agency in London. In previous lives he worked for 20+ years in global networks such as BBDO and Publicis and as a result has significantly more grey hair than one might expect. Working on brands such as PepsiCo, BT, Cadbury, Capital One, Mercedes and Wrigley's was apparently 'rewarding to a point'. Over his career he has much to be proud of. Whilst a gold for film at Cannes was a highlight, it was probably overshadowed as an achievement by personally getting onto Masterchef on TV in the UK. This was followed by his most humiliating moment at being thrown off in the very first round. Still, only 3 million people witnessed that. No biggy. He is passionate about making ads that aren't dull, crap or embarrassing, of which he believes there are waaaaaaay too many. He believes wholeheartedly in the ability of humour to win hearts, minds, and some lung tissue and is going to tell you why on the 26th of September. Please set your expectation levels to 'whatever' in the hope of being pleasantly surprised.
